Captain George Frantz began fishing the waters in Southwest Florida when he was a kid! Born and raised in Punta Gorda, he is a true Florida native. His passion for fishing began when his father and grandfather would take him fishing at a young age. They would spend summer days and weekends chasing Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon and a variety of other fish around Charlotte Harbor.
Captain George has been doing guided fishing charters on Charlotte Harbor, Peace River and surrounding areas for almost 2 decades!

As winter comes, the bait fish leave the Florida harbors. So, jigs like Lil Johns or other twitch baits, even live or dead shrimp, is the way to go.
In early fall, the bait get bigger and you want to bump the leader & hook size. You'll want to move inshore as fall comes around. The bigger snook will show up, redfish are great targets, and the tarpon will still be around.
